A complete solution to the pollution problem of the town of Galabovo is the construction of sulfur-purifying installations, the Bulgarian Minister of Environment and Waters Dzhevded Chakarov said in the Bulgarian Parliament. According to Chakarov the Maritza Iztok Thermal Electric Plant in Bulgaria was supposed to be equipped with such installations by June 30 2007 for units 1 and 2 and will have to build such for units 3 and 4 by August 2008, but the second two will also be late.
