The village of General Inzovo will seal its official correspondence with a golden Euroseal after it was awarded with a “Golden seal” for a unique European settlement. The award is given by the European forum of the experts and the Bulgarian representative of the unique settlements in Europe. The seal will be put under all representative documents of the village`s correspondence with European towns, states and the Bulgarian institutions.
The nomination criteria for unique settlement include: cultural heritage, unique nature, investment interest and opportunities for development.
“The investigated us for a whole year whether we are in line with the criteria, the conducted surveys, talks”, commented the mayor of the village Yanka Lilova a day after she received the golden seal.
I suppose the experts were impressed by the museum`s complex, the preserved clean nature around the village, the environmental paths and the restored fountains which existed two centuries ago, added the mayor.
Despite the fact that only 1000 people live in General Inzovo, investors are interested in what the village has to offer. The village was awarded on a special ceremony at the Union of the architects in Bulgaria.
