Mining company Assarel-Medet began the construction of a high-tech hospital in Panagyurishte worth BGN 55 mln. The complex will develop multifarious activities and will have an oncology center.

The project is a public-private partnership between the municipality of Panagyurishte, Asarel-Medet and dozens of doctors and medical professionals. Main investor is Asarel Panagyurishte Health Ltd.

The hospital will have 268 beds and 520 employees. Diagnostics will use the most advanced equipment - computer tomography, magnetic resonance, position-emission tomography (PETS) robotic angiography and others. In the oncology center will be implemented two of the best multi-modal medical linear accelerators in Bulgaria and the region.
