Family hotels from the whole country received "The Green House" certificate for nature-oriented tourism by the Bulgarian Assosiation for Alternative Tourism. The basis for the certificate, issued by BAAT is the European Centre for Ecological Agricultural Tourism ECEAT standards. The certificate is given after estimation, made by a special commission.

Sliven hotel "Toma Inn" received the award for the Green House of the year, for its successful attempt to show that tourism in Bulgaria can be made in an ethical and responsible way and can answer the expectations for "eco" tourist services as well as its hospitality and positive, guest-oriented attitude, BAAT chairman Lyubomir Popyordanov stated.

The Green House Standard is also extremely particular about the hotels policy towards the guests ecology attitude.

Hotels are expected to initiate donation campaigns for local ecological and social funds or organize activities, for instance forestations, which tourists can take part in.

It is important that the hosts pay attention to the local traditions and furnishing when building their hotels and show tourists traditions and objects, specific for the region.
